If You Have a Single Quilt Block, You Can:

  • Substitute it for a pocket or flap in your favorite bag or purse pattern
  • Make a one of a kind pillow
  • Use it as the center block or medallion of a quilt
  • Frame it
  • Make a sweet pin cushion (if it's a small block)

If You Have a Few Blocks, You Can:

  • Make a pair of hot pads or potholders
  • Add some borders to make a small wall or table quilt
  • Create matching pillows
  • Add additional blocks to make a sampler quilt
  • Keep one and share the other with a friend (how about an orphan block exchange and challenge???)

If You Have a Lot of Blocks, You Can:

  • Make a wall, baby, throw, or even a bed quilt, depending on the actual number of blocks
  • Make several coordinating projects to decorate a space (perhaps a wall quilt, throw pillows, table runner, and cozy throw?)
